“Had high hopes but this is too big in all ways for summer and for me. Sadly cannot return as it is final sale. I love the idea and the picture here but the dress did not work.”

“Im 51, a true curvy figure, XS, and I took my chances. Its more midi on me, but fits great, and looks perfect with heels. Its exactly the basic classy black dress I want in my closet. Perfect for work but can be accessorized for elegant occasions. It buttons all the way, so you can unbutton as low or as high as you want. Definitely one of the more stylish US options. The size options to choose in the review section dont correspond with the US sizing, ex XXS? I assume that mean XS and not real life sizing?”

“As a short, large busted person, (5'3, 185 lbs, 40 DD) the extra detail of tiny snaps between the buttons is sheer genius. Overall the dress is beautiful. I purchased the black version in small and I could maybe have gotten away with an extra small, as it is bigger in some areas where I am not like shoulders. The smocking does a great job of giving my apple shape some distinction, and it is elegant. I didn't give it 5 stars because it doesn't come in petite. I always wince at the price of US but have never been disappointed and keep buying stuff lol...”
