“There are definite positives about these jeans--the fabric is really nice and thick, and I love the dark color--but overall, this first foray into buying jeans online will be my last.
I don't know if it's just the way my body fits into these, but they don't ride well, especially when going from sitting to standing or vice versa. I've concluded that for me, the seam in the crotch where everything comes together sits too far forward so when I sit down, the front of the waistband gets cozy with my ribcage while the back waistband heads south and tries to show off my underwear. And then when I stand up, the legs don't always fall back into place and I have to adjust the waist part yet again so I feel like I'm constantly having to adjust these and I much prefer wear and go sorts of clothes.”
“I was a little hesitant about trying these jeans because of the 3 length. My height is all in my legs and I typically wear heels with jeans, so I like the hem to sit right at the top of my shoe. These were perfect. Im not sure if its the stretch or what, but they worked and normally I prefer a 33 or 34. I will probably line dry these pants when I was them to preserve the color and length.
Im in construction sales and these were perfectly polished enough for a Friday customer visit and lunch. Fridays are a tough visiting day because so many offices are wearing jeans these days and dress slacks make you look entirely out of place.
As others noted, I would suggest sizing down on this pant. Your usual size might be a bit loose.”
“I bought a pair of black jeans. They fit so well and are so comfortable that I bought a second pair in indigo. Love the high waist style. I had forgotten where my natural waist is!”
“I love US so much it has made up almost my entire wardrobe for years. These jeans are a very welcome addition to the lineup I own them in black and indigo. The fit is perfection. The silhouette hits that trouser jean we hear so much about on wardrobe makeover reality TV. They fit in well, in business casual outfits (at least, the West Coast definition that includes a lot of denim). The shape is modern enough and classic enough. I wouldnt call it boot cut, as it isnt as narrow at the knee, but I prefer the trouser silhouette to true boot cut. The dye is done well, the black has lasted as well as can be expected. I can get multiple wearings without them sagging. The improvements Id like to see are the fabric quality and the hardware the button loses its finish rapidly and the fabric is thinner than other quality jeans in this price range. They fit well and look nice, but they dont look high end.”
