“Why did I not buy these jeans sooner!??! In a year when comfort was so welcome, I finally joined this century and got myself a pair. And I LOVE THEM. Super comfortable for sitting at a desk all day--no tight waistband pinching or pressing my stomach--and stretchy enough to do yoga in. Fairly comparable to leggings in comfort, but more substantial and versatile.”
“I have been on a quest to find a really good fitting jean, and these are SO close. I ordered my regular size (1) and a size down based on reviews, and my regular size fit well. Based on the size chart, I thought the mid rise would be high enough, but the rise was about an inch too short. I also wish the inseam was at least 1 inch longer because these looked like capris instead of an ankle length jean.
My big complaint is that when I contacted US to exchange these pants for the high rise Seine in a longer inseam, I was told they could not do the exchange and that I'd have to return these jeans and repurchase the jeans I wanted to exchange them for. It's essentially the same pant and the same price, but their "system" doesn't allow for the exchange. I wish this had been spelled out more clearly, as I bought the jeans during the denim drive so they were on super sale and I would have to buy the "exchanged" pants at full price. The whole process just kind of soured my experience.”
“Love the denim - true black and hasnt faded after a single wash like other brands. Love the fit of the hips, legs and ankle! My complaint is the fit of the waist- too big and allows the entire jean to pull oddly on my legs with every step. A belt requires to keep in place-”
“I ordered a size 16 which is what I am in Gap and I couldn't even button them. I exchanged it for an 1. I had purchased pairs and one fit and the other the same size and style did not fit. I am not in love with the ones I kept but the order number won't come up on Universal Standards site so I can't return nor can I get a person on the phone to discuss. Also if you're a new customer and not sure how their jeans fit don't order during a sale because I think I would have had better luck in their high rise jeans but I will never know because you can't exchange styles only sizes. I personally am not paying 90.00 for a pair of jeans when I only paid 5.00. This will be my last order with US. I think there are better brands that do a better job with customer service.”
“The fabric of these black jeans is different than the blue - twill rather than denim. The twill fabric picks up lint and pet hair and is not as comfortable as the denim. They look nice and fit well, so I will keep them.”
