This was my first purchase with US. I saw these jeans for a good sale price and even though they were a final sale item, I ordered them. Its so hard to buy jeans that fit correctly and was nervous they wouldnt work. When they arrived, I anxiously tried them on and I was so happy when they fit perfectly. I am 58 00 pounds and I ordered the 14. I am very happy and will order more in the future.

The Mid Rise Seine Jeans are my absolute favorite jeans. They are the most comfortable jeans that Ive ever worn. They might as well be leggings! My only complaint is that I wish they came in fun colors!

I ended up exchanging my first pair for a smaller size and once I did so....I am thrilled with these jeans. The distressed black is perfect. The material is soft but substantial and while there is good stretch the jeans do not bag aver wearing them all day. Or even for days in a row. My only complaint- and this is very minor- is that one of the rivets on the pocket came off after several washings. Not a structural issue but it was odd.

I have never found a pair of jeans that fit and are as comfortable as these! I am short and round and a difficult fit. I greatly appreciate the deep pockets with coordinating fabric. Because Im short, the rise is a little tall, but these jeans are so comfy that they will be my go to jean.

This is my third pair of these jeans in the distressed black wash. The first pair felt like a totally different material (this was at least a couple of years ago and I think the very first run) and they were fabulous -- fit was great, quality was great, they had a funny little flare at the ankle, but I was able to make it work. Second pair was very different (the wash was much improved IMO) and fit was still great, but they wore out much quicker than the first pair and the denim felt a little less robust. This pair I recently purchased in Sept (pair 3) was again pretty different, so different that I had to size up to get the same fit. Wash was still great, but quality has gotten worse again. I had to hand sew a seam break where the zipper had disconnected from the jeans after just maybe 3 wears and one wash. I was pretty disappointed in that. I got both the distressed black and the all black. While the all black hasn't had any seam issues, there are several spots on both washes where I can see pulling (maybe in the elastane??) and it creates pretty unflattering distortions in the fabric (almost looks like a run in a pantyhose, but side ways instead of vertical). I can tell these aren't going to last long -- for the price, I'd expect a bit more. After washing, the the zipper is also exposed unless I iron the material flat. Overall, I'm just not loving the quality of the most recent batches of this jean. I'm a huge fan of Universal Standard, the mission and evolution of the brand, and will likely keep purchasing different items from here (and have purchased a bunch in the past), but I think the quality of the jeans is deteriorating (despite the great fit) and I'll likely steer clear of the denim moving forward.
