“I love love loved the Seines in distressed blue that I bought last year (even going so far as to mend the inner thighs when they blew out). I had them in a 14 and a 16, and they both fit really well, with the 16 loose but very comfortable. In brands like Gap, I'm a solid 16.
When the black Friday sale came around I ordered two new pairs in odeon blue and vintage indigo...but when they arrived and I tried them on, I was really disappointed to find that they fit very differently than my original pairs of the distressed blue color. The size 16 in the new jeans was actually *smaller* than the size 14 in the old ones. I could fit into them, but after having abdominal surgery last year, I just can't stand a waistband that puts too much pressure on my stomach. I am thankful to US customer service, though, as they were kind enough to accept my return even though I had taken the tags off of one of the pairs.”
