I was skeptical about the ponte - it's PERFECT, the side stripe - it's adorable, the waistband - not an issue, and the length - GREAT on me. The pants are a magical unicorn of amazingness. I'm just under 5' and they fit me perfectly. When I wear sneakers, the fall nicely over my sneakers, and I can still wear them with very flat sandals, or even my ballet flats. They dress up and down and no matter what I get compliments on them every time I wear them. The material washes like a dream, and I am surprised that for the weight of the ponte, they are not hot. I'm curious to see how they feel as it gets truly warm. A deep red pair would make me immeasurably happy, as would a black pair with a solid white stripe.
