Finally! A pair of wide-leg jeans that fit my waist AND are long enough on me (I'm 5'9")! The legs just skim the ground when I'm standing barefoot, which means they'll be perfect with Danskos or Docs.
I bought a size 18, based on my measurements and my gut feeling (lol). Turns out a 16 would have fit me better after wearing for a while - they do stretch - but I'm fine with these jeans being a little loose. That's kind of the point of wide legs, and the waist doesn't seem to stretch out too much.
I did buy a second pair in the dark indigo as soon as they were on sale again, and this time I'm trying the 16. So excited to have two pairs of these pants! I think the darker ones will be perfect for dressing up a little more.”

Be advised I have a long torso, and these come up almost to my ribcage ” reallllly high waisted.
