“I have the Joni jeans in midnight blue and they are my favorite pair of pants (aside from the fact that the crotch wears out fast). The midnight blue jeans are soft and a little stretchy and very flattering. I ordered a black pair hoping I'd love them too. I do not. They are NOT the same material as the midnight blue jeans. The material is thin and stiff, the kind of material that I don't think will soften over time. And the calves are cut VERY skinny. Sadly the black was final sale so I can't return them.”
“These jeans in Soft Black are my favorite pair of pants. In Black, they're a completely different experience. I sized up, as suggested, and they bag around the crotch (so attractive). The fabric is much rougher (chafes uncomfortably) and not as stretchy (as described, but believe them--they're not AT ALL as stretchy). It feels like they should be sold as some other fit/name. Or maybe not sold at all.”
“I LOVE my size 0 Joni in indigo, so went to buy the black in the same size. But the button is at least an inch away from closing. Happily their exchange to go up a size is free, but it's still a pain. When I emailed them they said they know about the size difference. I wish it was shared on the item description since it's a known issue! So as someone who straddles a 0/ in size, I need a 0 in the indigo and at least a in the black (TBD).”
