“I would never have purchased these based on the description. After receiving a pair that the stylists picked for me, I purchased this second pair. Im short and my waist is a lot smaller than my hips. I have never had a pair of jeans that didnt gap at the waist. I dont wear high waisted jeans because I am short. These are high waisted but not as high as expected. They fit so well that I dont mind them being higher than I normally wear.”
“First, Im not a huge fan of high waists and ankle-length pants, but I need comfortable curvy-fit jeans that dont look boxy on my short, curvy frame, so here we are. I initially used the size chart but that pair was too big. Returns were extremely easy, and I had a smaller size in less than a week. The fit is comfortable. They dont have any stomach flattening properties, so dont expect any. Nothing spectacular in the rear. Just decently comfortable jeans that seem like theyll wear well.”
“Hi. I wanted to try a pair of universal standard jeans and they were out of mid rise so I tried these. The quality is excellent but I dont like high rise jeans. I never have. I find them unflattering. I have a hour glass shape and tried a size 16. These were a nice garment just not my jam.”

“This is my second pair of Joni jeans and both have snags in the fabric despite being washed on delicate inside out and hung to dry. I love the fit - theyre so comfortable and I adore the extra high rise, but the quality of the fabric is a bummer.
Hopefully the issue is resolved because I really do love these jeans. If you order, Id size down.

“The fit was odd. Material was soft but bulged at the top of the thigh and wrinkled strangely. If the pant fits, the material is innovative and comfortable. I returned the pant.”
“These jeans fix the issue that I had with the Siene jeans. With the Sienes, if they were the right size for my butt and thighs, the waist would feel too big (and start sliding down during the day). I had to go down a size to stop the sliding down, but then the rest of the jeans were a bit too tight. Despite that issue, the Sienes were still some of the best jeans around, but now with the Jonis I don't have to compromise. I get a good fit on the waist all while having room for my booty. Yay!
I texture of the jeans feels a a lot rougher than my other US jeans, but hopefully they will soften up with some washing.”
