“I was so excited for these jeans based on the photos and some reviews. I took the advice of many reviewers and sized down. Immediately tried them on and they were still too big. So I did something I never do with jeans washed and dried them (not hang dry, but machine). They fit more comfortably, but still have too much room in the belly. Also, the crotch material hangs really low. I suspect this is all because the denim is so stretchy. Also did not like that the distressed areas on the legs were more distressed than the photos and my skin shows through. All of this makes for a very awkward pair of jeans. I will wash and dry once more, but not optimistic about them improving. The only plus is that the length is good and the denim feels quality. Huge disappointment.”
