“I got these culottes in the wanderlust mystery box. I am between an XXS and an XS and selected XS for the mystery box. These were too big and frumpy and the brl©e color gave me fall vibes. I basically hated them. I figured I would give them to a friend or donate them but hadnt done so yet. Then I tore my Achilles tendon 3 weeks before a trip to Europe and am in an air cast. Desperate to find some pants, any pants, that I could wear on the long haul flight, I pulled out the culottes and voila! They fit over the air cast perfectly and have a nice drape. They are lightweight, relatively wrinkle free, and have a comfortable wide waistband. Im 53 and they fit more like a cropped pant than a culotte. They also match dusty pastels, which keeps them from skewing too fall. They can be dressed up or worn casually, and I am SO grateful to have one pair of actual pants for this trip. If you are in a brace or a cast, give these a try. Now that I have figured out how to style them, Im sure I will wear them even when the cast comes off. In the end, mystery box for the win!”
