I have a lot of US jeans. Donnas, Seines, Baes...you name 'em, I got 'em. But these were so, well, WEIRD, that I thought I needed to try them. Honestly? They might be my favourite US jeans ever. The weight and stretch of the denim is awesome - a little bit lighter and stretchier than other US denim, but still heavy enough to smooth and hide lumps n' bumps, and weirdly, the crossover fly is really kind of slimming. There's no weird gaping at the waistline, despite my waist circumference being smaller than my hips/butt circumference. Being a total shorty, I also appreciated the raw hem because instead of having to take these in to be hemmed to get them to the right length, I just sawed 'em off just above my ankle with my sewing shears (although they also would have looked cute as longer style jeans). Definitely a new fave!
