Standard II Dark Khaki Modern Utility Kilt
The UTKilts Standard II Utility kilt has become the standard that all others try to follow.  Although it is our lowest priced utility kilt, it has the same durable and long lasting constructions as any of our more expensive kilts.  Two cargo pockets on each side will fit the common items a guy wants to carry these days.  Pleats are also sewn down to make sure you always get that perfect look, no matter the activity.  It also has two sets of snaps to make sure you have a solid, comfortable fit.  Don't let anyone tell you that GREAT quality can't come with a LOW price on a utility kilt.  The UTKilts Standard II Utility Kilt gives you amazing quality, low price, and a fabulous look.  You won't find anything like this anywhere else!
Features Include:

2 snap closures (one on the inside)
2 extra snap closures to allow 1 inch expansion in the waist
2 large cargo pockets on each side
Durable, long lasting Poly-Cotton material
Lifetime warranty on all metal hardware (free replacements sent)
2-3 day shipping via Priority Mail

Difference between the Standard and Standard II
The Standard II utility kilt is very similar to the regular standard but there are some key differences.  The Standard II does not have the side buckle straps on the right hip.  It also has 3 functional snaps on the front apron.
Other Colors Available
Several other colors are available in our standard and standard II utility kilt styles.  Check them out here.

Sizing / Measuring
It is extremely important you follow our measuring video and order the size you need based on your measurement, not pants size. All of men's pants are labeled 2-4 inches smaller than what they actually measure. Please see our measuring video below or checkout or measuring page here.
If you measure an even size like 38 or 40, then order that exact size.  If you fall in between sizes we typically recommend ordering up in size for a loose, but comfortable fit.  However, each size has an extra set of snaps to go up one inch in waist size.  If you prefer a snug fit then you can order down if measure an odd size (example: 37 can go up to a 38 for a loose, comfortable fit or down to a 36 for  snug fit)
Custom waist sizes, lengths, or colors

Need a waist size or length not listed here?  Looking for a different color? Checkout our special order listing here that will allow you to customize the kilt to your exact waist and length (only recommended if our in stock sizes won't work).  We also have many other colors listed there that we can custom order to your specific size.

Bought my UT Kilt for our company Christmas party. VERY impressed with the quality of this item. And when you then reflect on what you paid for it, you're hooked. It looked great, was a big hit, and I had no bad experiences. Wear it with confidence.

My husband has several of your kilts. He loves them. He wears them all of the time. People come up and ask him about them and his heritage . He so enjoys talking about it. He loves his tee shirt. I got him that for Christmas. People shake his hands and just have so much fun when they read it. We will be buying even more. We are proud to be who we are. Above all be who you want to be, not what others want you to be.

I wanted something different for St. Pat's Day this year, so I went the kilt route. Was turned on to UTKilts by a guy in one at a art event. He was so happy with the product and service of UTKilts, that he was carrying Bryce's business cards! I bought the Standard II in dark khaki, a Jacobite shirt, kilt hose and flashes. The level of service and the quality of the products cannot be compared at even twice this price. Everything is remarkable. I wore the kilt, hose, flashes, a Cold Steel Secret Edge (my sgian dubh), a wide, military web belt and a fairly common St Pat's Day t-shirt to work (and later, the pub) on St. Pat's Day. The response from my employees and everyone else in the plant was amazingly positive. The comment from most of the guys was, 'Man, you got some huge klangers to wear that!'. From the women, they were all trying to peak up my skirt :) EVERYONE wanted a picture with me. It was a blast. And now, the downside; Do NOT wear a kilt to the Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day! Today I arrived late to work, having consumed WAY too much Jamesons and Guiness, none of which I paid for. And the attention from the ladies? Let's just say, if you are asked 'what do you have on under the kilt?', refrain from replying, 'How warm are your hands? Find out for yourself.', unless you enjoy being fondled frequently ;) This has been a great experience from start to finish! Thank you Bryce and the team at UTKilts!!

My first kilt. My wife bought it as a gift for me to wear at a summer camp we do every year. I was skeptical at first, but it has turned out to be one of my favourite garments. Very comfortable and functional in a variety of environments. I am converted. I now have three kilts, and have another one in my sights. Running, hiking, camping, and theme events are what I have used them for so far. BTW, my wife likes them too. ;-)

This is my first time working in a kilt. Unlike my jeans there is no binding or hotspots. For light duty outside work the Utility II is ideal. I am a mandolin luthier and they are very functional in my workshop. It gets warm in the summers and the kilt will be a welcome relief.
