“I bought the Upstage Mono wig in Iced Mocha, average size. Valentine Wigs are very competitive with their prices, helpful with excellent service. I wouldn't use any other company now I've found them.
The Upstage Mono by Racquel Welch is a light and comfortable hand-tied wig. The fit is snug, I have it on loosest setting for 21.5" head.
I haven't used heat on it to create my own waves but do find it tends to frizz from friction on clothing at the back of my neck, more than on non heat friendly synthetic wigs.
It's a flattering style with a sweeping fringe and flicks at the back. I've had lots of compliments and the colour is rich. The fringe does tend to flop over my eye, which I have to flick back frequently. It also sheds a fair bit when combing but it is a full style, so fairly thick.
I've ordered a second one in the same colour as I'm very pleased overall with the length, it's not too long but longer than a standard bob style.”
