“Firstly, as usual Valentine’s service was fantastic. I was kept informed all the way through from order to delivery, and the wigs arrived much quicker than expected. Very impressed! I will also say something else I was impressed with - the wigs were non refundable, which I was well aware of, but they still emailed me after purchase to ensure I was happy with that as they could cancel the order if I wasn’t. I’ve read stories of people being caught out because they hadn’t realised their wigs were non refundable so I was really impressed by this.
I was looking for a natural, low density wig, and Cold Brew Chic was exactly what I was looking for. The fibres are very soft, and the lace front is impeccable. Unfortunately though, despite weeks of reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, and carefully taking my measurements, it just didn’t fit. If you’re looking at Belle Tress because you’ve heard it’s ‘big head friendly’, be very cautious. At 22 inches I didn’t think I’d have any problems, but this was a terrible fit and even with a wig grip I couldn’t get it to stay in place. It also didn’t come down far enough at the sides so I had a lot of my natural hairline showing. The cap design is not the most luxurious, but it’s comfortable enough. I found the metal stays to be a bit flimsy, but as it was a poor fit for me it could have just been because they weren’t sitting in the right place.
Overall I was really impressed by the low density, natural and modern style. It would make a great everyday wig. Given the excellent reviews on YouTube I suspect I just have an odd size noggin and got unlucky. I don’t have total hair loss, so I’m going to call it a day finding a wig; unfortunately I’ve now bought 4 from 3 different brands and haven’t found a fit yet, and I can’t afford to make any more expensive mistakes. If you can be sure it will fit then I absolutely do recommend it and I certainly recommend Valentine’s!”
