I wrote a query about the type/ material of the springs last time i purchased these and they were stainless steel which isnt suitable for corrosive chemicals.
The staff even went one step further and took out the stainless steel springs that werent required without me even having to ask them.

“The check valves were very good quality WF valves however they were ordered in Viton for resistance to Sodium Hypochlorite, however they have a spring inside.
I’m unsure of what material these springs are made of but I would doubt that they are made of a chemical resistant steel such as hastelloy C which is commonly used in chemical injection valve springs. Could you please confirm the spring material as I may need to remove them for use with Hypo.

Hi Cheyne,
The springs are made of 304 Stainless Steel. It has the material descriptions in the construction tab so you can see each part. You could remove the spring however you will have to have the unit vertical so the check will reseat.
