The Vedder Holsters Pocket Locker® is great for concealed carry of small sized pocket pistols in the front pocket of your pants- great for those that do not wish to carry around the waistline. Fully adjustable retention allows you to set your preference of tight, loose, or somewhere-in-between retention. The Pocket Locker® features three possible ways to draw. First, when drawing your firearm from your pocket, the hook catches on the corner of your pants pocket and the firearm is drawn, free from the holster. Second, it is great for those that want a secure and custom holster for their carry bag or purse as the holster comes standard with eyelet hardware which can be used to attach paracord to the interior of your bag for snatch style un-holstering. Third, an optional thumb tab that allows you to un-holster your gun with a simple thumb press. Each holster is custom molded from Kydex® to your unique gun model ensuring a perfect fit. It also comes with a full sweat guard. Sweat guards cover both sides of the entire slide of your pistol reducing its contact with moisture from your body.

Current listed holsters are ideal for front pocket carry in most standard mens jeans. To test if the holster will work for you in pocket carry, we recommend trying to put your unloaded and safety checked gun in your pocket to get an idea if pocket carry is for you. If your gun fits comfortably in your pocket, then you will have a good idea if the holster will fit in your pocket as well.

“I ordered this holster for the Ruger LCP 2 not knowing it would be gigantic and extend out in every direction beyond the firearm. Way, way too bulky. The clearance for the built-in LCP sights is seriously 1/2inch above the sights themselves, for no reason. They didn't bend the thumb tab for me and left a huge amount of kydex over the back sights. There is extra kydex on the bottom, and the hook extends out beyond the magazine. It turns the LCP 2 from "wallet shaped" to "paperback book" shaped. Seriously can't tell what they were thinking making a pocket gun holster so bulky. I requested a refund and they indicated they would return my money a few days after receiving the item back, and that I had to return it on my own dime. Although Vedder has been polite, I don't really appreciate having to pay to get my own money back because they delivered a redesigned, bulky, inferior product. Looking at pictures of the old LCP 2 Vedder Pocket Locker, I'm not sure why they made the changes. But buyer beware, unless you're getting this for a Glock 42 you're going in blind. **VH COMMENT** Thank you for taking the time to post your review. The thumb tab is more built into the back of the holster now. We previously had people mention that the bent over thumb tab would jab their leg in the pocket so, we redesigned it for an overall better fit and comfort. “This holster is absolutely perfect. I carry w4/7 and am a tucked in shirt kinda guy. Ride a motorcycle as my principle means of transportation. This pocket holster fits in riding jacket pocket and once I get where I am going it goes from jacket to right jeans pocket. Fits perfect without printing at all. Do recommend the thumb tab and the tail to hook on pocket when drawing. My go to holster noe”

“Its almost identical to carrying pistol in pocket, except it's better balanced, and completely protected from all my potential sweat.kydex adds virtually no depth, and hold securely without being too tight, a tough balance. I'd recommend thumb tab. As well executed as product could be.”

“I ordered a pocket holster last week for my new 380 Bodyguard and it arrived in just 4 days. Like the way it fits the gun in my pocket. I ordered the curve with the thumb tab. I am really glad I got the thumb tab. Very easy to use.”

“It is very well made, However… it pulls out of my pocket 9 out of 10 times. I had to heat and bend the thumb press some to get a good purchase on it. I ALWAYS have to use that to get the holster to release the pistol. The hook doesn’t actually hook the pocket very well. In a life or death situation, nope. Sorry. **VH COMMENT** Thank you for taking the time to review your holster. I am so sorry to hear that you are having some trouble with your holster. You ordered the holster with the thumb tab so, you should have received the holster with the thumb tab however, it is no longer bent over. We can however, do this upon request. “This is exactly what I was looking for. I bought a G43x to picket carry and this holster makes that possible. The slim design adds little to the size of the gun and makes it all very comfortable. I may even consider getting another color for days when I'm feeling spicy.”
