The Vedder Holsters Pocket Locker® is great for concealed carry of small sized pocket pistols in the front pocket of your pants- great for those that do not wish to carry around the waistline. Fully adjustable retention allows you to set your preference of tight, loose, or somewhere-in-between retention. The Pocket Locker® features three possible ways to draw. First, when drawing your firearm from your pocket, the hook catches on the corner of your pants pocket and the firearm is drawn, free from the holster. Second, it is great for those that want a secure and custom holster for their carry bag or purse as the holster comes standard with eyelet hardware which can be used to attach paracord to the interior of your bag for snatch style un-holstering. Third, an optional thumb tab that allows you to un-holster your gun with a simple thumb press. Each holster is custom molded from Kydex® to your unique gun model ensuring a perfect fit. It also comes with a full sweat guard. Sweat guards cover both sides of the entire slide of your pistol reducing its contact with moisture from your body.

Current listed holsters are ideal for front pocket carry in most standard mens jeans. To test if the holster will work for you in pocket carry, we recommend trying to put your unloaded and safety checked gun in your pocket to get an idea if pocket carry is for you. If your gun fits comfortably in your pocket, then you will have a good idea if the holster will fit in your pocket as well.

“The holster is a good quality product. But unless you have pockets that are big enough for it ride a certain way you can not get your gun out of the holster. Only works with about half my pants.”

“I bought this for a Ruger LCP2. Though it didn't work for me, I think that's more a matter of personal preference. I felt the holster was too bulky in my pocket, and I personally don't like carrying so low; it makes moving naturally awkward for me. However, I didn't use the preference issue to take away one star. There were two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. One, as I stated earlier, I think the holster is too bulky, and that ends up making the pistol and holster look like a brick in my pants, which doesn't really lend itself to concealed carry. I think something that large would naturally draw attention from others. Two, I didn't think the thumb release was very helpful. When drawing, I used the hook feature on the holster, which worked fine by itself. The thumb release really slowed me down and made drawing from my pocket awkward. On the bright side, I also purchased a Light Tuck holster from Vedder, and that holster has changed the way I carry. It's awesome! In short, If you already know you like to pocket carry, this holster might work for you, but be aware that it adds quite a bit of bulk compared to the pocket holster Ruger provides with the LCP2, and I'd skip the thumb release and just use the hook feature.”

“I am a big fan of Vedder hosters so it makes sense that a Vedder Pocket holster would be a nice gift for my son. Vedder makes quality holsters and has the nicest customer service folks in the business. The materials and Craftsmanship is outstanding. The Thumb brake aids in the removal of the firearm for a quick and clean draw. Worn with Jeans, slacks, or cargo pants you will hardly notice the gun is in your pocket and no one will notice it either. You can't go wrong with a Vedder Pocket Locker. Like I always say " Its better with Vedder”

“Best pocket holster I have ever owned. Great retention and disappears in my pocket. It locks the gun in place and will not fall out in your pocket yet is easy to pull from the pocket with the thumb tab. Great quality and the Mandrake color and design are top notch.”

“I have carried a Sig 938 in my left front pocket for 2 years, with a leather RKBA holster. My main problem with that holster is that the magazine release button is only partially covered, and the button sometimes gets pressed inside my pocket. I read a review on this holster and ordered one. It does not cover the mag release button at all. It's one inch taller that my old holster, doesn't fit well in my pocket and it's more difficult to draw the gun. So, it not sits in a box of unused holsters. **VH COMMENT** Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your holster does not work out for you. “Great holster for summertime when cargo shorts, t-shirt and flip flops. Great for throwing in pocket to run to store or some window shopping away. Easy to draw with the tab. My go to holster during summer when I’m just running around. Great Holster.”

“Shockingly great customer service coupled with outstanding products makes Vedder very special. I sent email to Vedder 1 week ago, saying that I was considering the Pocket Rocket for my Kahr CM9, but wondered if I could dremel off the bottom half inch of kydex without reducing retention, in order to have it sit lower in the pocket. The next day I got a reply from Pennie at Vedder saying that she spoke with the shop supervisor and that it could be removed without problem. She said that I just needed to note the request in the order comment section, and they would take care of it at no extra charge! I placed the order, and the next day I got another email from Pennie, with a picture of the holster with some kydex removed, asking if I wanted it that way, or if I wanted it further shortened, but that shortening further would open the bottom and pocket particles could get into the barrel. I said I would prefer it shortened even further, and that I could live with open bottom and potential lint in the barrel. They shipped it THAT DAY, and it arrived today. Total time for questions, custom work and shipping to my door was 7 days! Their work is absolutely perfect. Retention is excellent. The bottom is smooth and polished. It fits like a glove, and sits low in the pocked just as I requested. I had expected top quality craftsmanship since I have their LightTuck for my Glock 26 and my son has both their LightTuck and their RapidTuck for his Glock 43, and all three are stellar, but I had no idea that they could do custom work and get it delivered that fast. The combination of low price, high quality, fast production and shipping, and absolutely the best customer service make Vedder very, very special. Highly recommended.”
