“The Most comfortable In side the waist band holster. I have couple “top brand” high price holsters and this one is cheaper than all my expensive holster, yet the quality of this one, and especially the comfort surpasses my other Holsters. I highly recommend this brand.”

“I bought the ProTuck for my new Springfield Emissary. Not easy to find a holster for this gun. Vedder Holsters offered a product to fit my gun and it fits better then my expectations. I would have rated a 5 as I am just getting used to a Kydex holster. I have found the sweet spot for the tension adjustment based on my carry position. Vedder Holsters makes a great product at very affordable pricing”

“First off, lets set the scene here… For the best part of the last 30 years my IWB and EDC needs have been met with leather holsters from a guy/company in Idaho, name rhymes with “sharks”. Through a period of much personal growth, LOL, full size 1911s became Commander size versions and now 90% is covered by an optic equipped Sig 365XMacro. Holster choices for this combo were, and still remain somewhat limited but Vedder has your back. The ProTuck IWB is 1. Secure, 2. Adjustable, 3. Comfortable. The pistol locks in positively and stays in place passing the upside down wiggle test. Even with a little less umph on the retention screw it stayed in place and holstered without thought. The dual METAL belt clips, positioned with enough separation keep the rig where you put it and doesn’t wander fore and aft. The rake angle, which is important when it comes to getting your proper grip on the pistol, also stays the same. Walking, standing, in and out of the car, seated or going through the days events this holster stays put. Adjustments are made to the belt hooks that ride out on the leather extensions front and back providing a fairly wide range of muzzle forward, butt forward rakes or neutral straight drop. They also give a variety of positions for how deep the pistol is carried which was important to me considering the optic. Wanting the holstered pistol to sit just deep enough the front element and body of the optic where just above the top edge of the waistband and belt was a quick adjustment. Comfort comes from the narrow profile of the holster and the leather extensions. The thickness of the holster body doesn’t include the belt attachments, those are narrower than the holster itself and take up very little space inside the waist band. Worn behind the point of the strong side hip, say 3:30 to 4:00, with the muzzle raked to the rear in an “FBI cant” this one sits without causing hot spots. A comfort test for me is wearing the rig while driving, and the ProTuck passes meaning it doesn’t jam any part of the pistol into my back or side. A simple untucked button-down shirt, long or short sleeve, covers this combo for summer wear and it will only become more “invisible” as the weather cools down. Granted this holster is new to me but I think I can stop searching and be happy wearing this one. Well done Vedder, guess holsters don’t have to be all leather with directional snaps.”
