“While this was marketed and sold as a holster for the BG 2.0, it was clear upon receiving it that Vedder did not use an exact mold for this pistol and used something close. The trigger guard did not match up perfectly so retention wasn’t great, and there was a significant gap at the end of the muzzle before the holster ended making the holster way longer than the pistol and defying the point of carrying such a small pistol. This resulted in a relatively unsafe and poorly tooled holster. I have two IWB holsters that cost me 1/4 of the cost of the Vedder and they are perfectly molded. Vedder accepted the return and refunded me but it cost me $8 return shipping and I don’t have a holster so can’t say this was great.”
“Excellent OWB design for the sought after S&W Bodyguard 2.0. The handgun in itself is extremely lightweight so having a firm response holster to securely “anchor “ the 2.0 is essential. Nice work Vedder. FYI I originally thought the 2.0 with a safety was the way to go but testing proved the other. Clumsy, small release. My review here is based on my Vedder holster with no Thumb safety. FYI Vedder design team. Nice work! One suggestion: the mag release sometimes activates when holstering the 2.0 with excessive pressure. Seems a slight amount of molding adjustment would be key. Thanks again.”
