Read Vedder Holsters Reviews

The Vedder Holsters Pocket Locker® is great for concealed carry of small sized pocket pistols in the front pocket of your pants- great for those that do not wish to carry around the waistline. Fully adjustable retention allows you to set your preference of tight, loose, or somewhere-in-between retention. The Pocket Locker® features three possible ways to draw. First, when drawing your firearm from your pocket, the hook catches on the corner of your pants pocket and the firearm is drawn, free from the holster. Second, it is great for those that want a secure and custom holster for their carry bag or purse as the holster comes standard with eyelet hardware which can be used to attach paracord to the interior of your bag for snatch style un-holstering. Third, an optional thumb tab that allows you to un-holster your gun with a simple thumb press. Each holster is custom molded from Kydex® to your unique gun model ensuring a perfect fit. It also comes with a full sweat guard. Sweat guards cover both sides of the entire slide of your pistol reducing its contact with moisture from your body.

Optional curve for even better concealment in front pocket. Optional thumb release for quick release in pocket or carry bag. Eyelet hardware which is great for attaching holster to inside of carry bag or purse. Current listed holsters are ideal for front pocket carry in most standard mens jeans. To test if the holster will work for you in pocket carry, we recommend trying to put your unloaded and safety checked gun in your pocket to get an idea if pocket carry is for you. If your gun fits comfortably in your pocket, then you will have a good idea if the holster will fit in your pocket as well.
Each Pocket Locker® Holster is hand molded here in the USA! Stock Photos Shows a Ruger LCP Max .380 in a Pocket Locker® Holster. Your holster will reflect the gun model you select.

A VERY NICE RIGID CASE FOR THE RUGER LCP 11.... THE DESIGN IS FLAWLESS ALTHOUGH I MAY GO WITH THE MODEL W/O THE THUMB BREAK NEXT TIME, ITS NOT NECESSARY DUE TO THE EXCELLENT DESIGN, JUST AN ADDITIONAL SAFETY FEATURE FOR SOME. MY WIFE AND I SUPPORT SMALL AND LOCAL BUSINESS...VEDDER HOLSTERS ARE SUPERIOR TO MOST AND WE WILL BE UPGRADING ALL OUR CURRENT FIREARM HOLSTERS TO VEDDER.

I would that I could give more than 5 stars, and recommend more strongly than just "yes". The LCP comes with cloth holster, fits the pocket nicely, stays put, but the cloth folds up. Also, I found that I had to reseat the magazine often, apparently, the magazine release got pressed accidently. So I went with Kydex. I bought this about 3.5 months ago. I had been disappointed that the holster didn't cover the mag release. The holser material rises up abit, but stops before covering the mag release. I was concerned. In the about 3.5 months that I've used it, NOT ONCE did the mag release get pressed accidently, NOT ONCE have I had to reseat the magazine. I' very much impressed with this holster. There is one suggestion I would make. The "inside" of the holster comes up alongside the slide. To draw it, one needs to place one's thumb on the edge of the material, and then push sideways. I would've bent that material a little bit, barely 1/16 inch, so that the thumnb fit a bit betweern the slide and the material, so that pressing down would also push the material to the side. As one can see in the video, the thumb has to press down, then begin withdrawing the weapon, and then press toward the slide to actually grip the weapon.

Got the holster with the thumb tab and curve. Very disappointed with how difficult it is to release the gun from the holster and it often takes one hand just to hold the holster down. You cannot adjust the tension of the holster on your own. When I inquired about a fix they asked me to pay for shipping. The Vedder website describes the tension level that they aim for and they missed here. Would not recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We are so orry to hear this and we are more than happy to assist. All of our holsters are handcrafted to the exact gun model listed for an exact fit. For our pocket carry holsters there is not a retention adjustment screw so, over the years with our customer feedback we have found a retention setting for them that we have found most customers are satisfied with. We do understand that each person has their own specific carry needs and for this reason, we offer complimentary retention adjustments as well as a 30 day return exchange policy on all of our products. I would love to get this holster adjusted for you. Having your holster back here will allow us to see how tight the retention is and adjust it as apposed to sending out another that we are not precisely sure if the retention is loose enough for your specific carry needs. You should not have to pay for shipping back, we can take care of that for you.

Gun fits so tight it takes both hands just to get it out of holster. The first holster for my lcp max. Fits great I can push it off with just my thumb.

I've carried my standard LCP in a Vedder holster for quite some time and I love it. When I acquired an LCP II, I decided to order another holster since the LCP II didn't quite fit in the old Vedder holster. So far, the only complaint I have is that it fits very snuggly. The original holster would take the LCP with a click. This one is just super, super snug. I'm hoping that working aholster will finally loosen it up a little bit where it just is retained by a click of the plastic on the trigger guard.
