“Absolutely Outstanding Experience – Vedder Holsters Went Above and Beyond! I recently purchased a SideTuck® Kydex IWB holster from Vedder Holsters for my Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus with a TLR-6 light and red dot. I ordered it on April 18, 2025, and it shipped out by April 23rd—very fast turnaround. I chose the blood red carbon fiber color, which looked great in the packaging, though I found it appeared a bit more orange than I had imagined. Once I inserted my Shield Plus into the holster, the fit was absolutely perfect—snug, secure, and clearly molded with precision. However, when I tried inserting a magazine into the sidecar, it wouldn’t fit. Being my first holster with a sidecar attachment, I initially thought maybe it just needed to be broken in or adjusted. But after checking the invoice, I realized the holster was made for the standard M&P Shield 3.1” w/TLR-6, not the Shield Plus—and that’s on me. The firearm itself still fit flawlessly (since the grip/magazine well doesn’t go into the holster shell), but the magazine sidecar was designed for a smaller mag—hence the issue. I immediately contacted Vedder Holsters to begin an exchange, fully expecting a bit of back and forth. Instead, I got a response the very next day. Customer service couldn’t have been more accommodating. I explained the issue and also mentioned that I wasn’t entirely happy with the color. I asked if it would be possible to not only get the correct sidecar for my Shield Plus but also change the holster color entirely. Their response? “No problem.” They only asked me to cover the price difference if the new color was more expensive and pay for shipping—which is completely fair and reasonable. I couldn’t be happier with how they handled everything. Friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful—exactly what you’d hope for in a company that stands behind their product and values their customers. Honestly, I’m confused by some of the negative reviews I’ve seen. I made a mistake in my order, and they still treated me like a top-priority customer. If someone is upset over paying a couple of bucks for shipping or not getting a highly custom holster immediately, that feels more like an unrealistic expectation than a customer service issue. My experience was smooth, respectful, and professional. Bottom line: Vedder Holsters is top-tier in both product quality and customer support. I highly recommend them and will definitely be coming back for future setups. I’m currently waiting for my updated holster and can’t wait to post pictures as soon as I have it in hand!”
