“This cover is certainly better than no cover at all in the Brisbane climate, and the fabric appears good quality. Without it, plants struggle to survive through summer.
I find it strange though that the only version available is this 75% cover, advised for use only in temperatures above 35C and for a maximum duration of 48 hours. I need it at 30C, and leave it on much longer, but this hinders growth. A 50% cover could be left on for much longer and provide a more moderate growing environment.
Also, it's quite loose and tricky to attach. Once you've tied it in, you wouldn't want to keep removing it and re-attaching it every two days.”
“Wonderful things happening in my garden with new shade cover helping plants to grow well.
Harvesting salad veggies— so good, and very tasty, with no chemicals.”
“I think vegepod products are very good, however I was confused when I ordered online. I actually wanted a replacement vegepod cover because my old one had ripped after many years of use. The first order I put through, I ordered the plastic cover for winter by mistake. The second time I accidentally ordered this green shadecloth cover and didn't realise it was wrong until I read the directions, to place it over the original cover. My third order has been successfully for a replacement white cover, which has finally replaced my torn one. There is a lot of choice and my advice is to be sure you are ordering the vegepod cover you actually need, unlike me.”
