Rock Solid, really high quality rack. I have a (5) bike rack and I can (barely) lift it on my own but it’s not exactly universal in this regard and for most users requires two people to install. Fortunately my kids are old enough to start helping me prep for a trip! I expect many years of use out of this product.

Great bike rack. Only issue we have is if you’re running larger flat pedals then the pedals can hit the frames of the other bikes while traveling which can damage them. If you run flats I would suggest the 5x. Other than that, great quality

Nice rack and functions well. A couple of bits of information for folks looking at purchasing this rack; one is that it is fairly heavy and awkward to put on your hitch, especially with one person. You really want two people for that and second, it's quite involved to put it together. Neither of these issues are a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. In regards to the design, a couple of things could he improved. First, we purchased the 5 bike rack and as far as I can tell it uses the same width bar as the 4 bike rack. This makes getting 5 bikes on the rack a bit of a game of tetris, especially if you have different size bikes, such as kids bikes. This made for some interesting loading, having to take off bikes and move them around on occasion. Even having one more inch of space between each bike would make a huge difference. This is such an issue that I have thought about ordering the top bar for a bigger rack. The second design issue is the use of a bolt to tighten the rack into the receiver on the vehicle. This requires a wrench where a hand turntable know would be much easier.

I will start with the only negative which isn’t even really that big of a deal but I think it’s worth noting. It’s a little heavy. That aside even though I have only owned it for a short period of time I couldn’t imagine having any other bike rack I absolutely love it and it is super easy to use. I have people asking me about it all the time and I love talking about it with them because it is such a well-made product. I also have pictures of it on the back of my jeep. I wanted to send you guys, but I didn’t see where to send them if you would like them I’m sure we could figure it out but if not, no big deal thanks again for making such a great product .

We are happy to hear your VelociRAX is easy to use and has been sported on your Jeep! We are Jeep enthusiasts ourselves and the bike rack is a nice touch. You should be able to add an image to the review if you would like, but that would just be a bonus to this awesome review. You can also share it with us at support@veloicrax.com because we love a good Jeep pic. Keep having fun and ride on!

This is the most sturdy bike rack I've ever owned. I bought the seven even though my car only seats 5. My kids have always got friends tagging along and sometimes when we're riding shuttles at corner canyon somebody's got a ride freestyle in the back. Awesome rack does the job.
