“I'm a person of shorter stature (160cm) and find that many shorts are just too long in the leg for summer riding. Who needs cosy knees as the summer heatwave rolls on? Or (at the top end) a sweaty back? These shorts are great for the summer. They reach half way down my thighs and end in a (non-siliconed) wide legband which is very flattering on my less than pencil-like thighs. The waistband is similar and at first I had doubts that it would stay in place due to its lightness but I haven't noticed it moving at all. The pad is lovely, having a deal of flexibility that means that it actually adapts to my shape and therefore I can forget about it.
I have done a couple of club rides 40-50 miles and an 80 mile sportive in them and have no problems to report. Only three washes so no information yet on how they will survive the machine long term, but they do dry quickly probably due in part to the semi-floating pad.”
