“I bought these to try for rowing in the winter, not to use while rowing (you don't wear gloves rowing), but to use after to clean the boats and oars. Your hands get very cold quickly as you're dunking them in and out of buckets of cold water and soap, and I have eczema on my hands so any combination of cold plus wet is very painful. I have tried these out several times, putting them on to handle the boats and clean them, and literally dunked my hands into the soapy buckets, wrung out sponges, handled hoses, etc, and my hands stay dry and warm. My hands get slightly colder once the gloves have been fully wet, but they're still way warmer and happier than if I wasn't using the gloves at all. My hands are also dry when I take the gloves off. I've tried rubber gloves, and these are better as they mould to my hands and they won't leak with a puncture like rubber gloves would. I'd say the sizing is accurate, they're a snug fit but quite comfortable. They're also good for cycling in the winter, they do a good job of keeping my hands warm (and the grips on the palm help with my gearing, I have a recumbent trike and the gears are vertical twist handles on the steering mechanism).
