“While these gloves fit well, and seem to be waterproof (I haven't yet been out in extremely wet weather) they are not nearly as warm as I'd expect. I wore them out the other night for a few hours, the low that night was 34 degrees Fahrenheit, and my hands were freezing. Even though my gloves were dry, I was quite surprised how little they did to keep my hands warm. I purchased a pair for my partner as well, they had the same complaint. For the price, I was expecting a higher quality glove, that not only kept my hands dry but also kept them warm. Had I known, I may have chosen to return them.”
Hi Lauren,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
I'm sorry to hear that your gloves aren't as warm as expected. They do have a fleece inner lining to keep your hands warm and dry for daily commuting and light use, but weren't designed to be used in extremely cold temperatures. The main benefit of our Waterproof Gloves is to keep your hands dry during the cold and wet season.
That said, we will be sure to share your experience with our Product Team as we're always looking for ways to improve and if you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@vessi.com
Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts on your waterproof gloves with us.
“They're a gift but I did try them on myself and felt great! Only minor gripe is that the touch fingers on both gloves do not work great but overall a very solid glove for what it's going to be used for. Thanks.”
“To be honest i bought these for my Wife as I'd bought a pair earlier and was so impressed with the warmth, waterproof-ness and fit. We walk our dogs in a park where the trails are wet and muddy and the weather is turning chilly. She likes them as well as I do. I'm impressed with the brand have ordered a pair of stormburst boots.”
“Gloves are water proof and soft inside and out. These run a bit small, and my hand was in between on the size guide so I sized down to a M which very snug but useable. The L would've been too long at the finger tips which would be more annoying.”
