“These are very comfortable and completely waterproof, they look great as well. My only minor complaint is they stain very easily and are not easily washable. I followed the directions for washing and they didn't really work. I would get the darker ones next time.”
“The shoes definitely need an insole, the ones that came with I popped out and tried an over the counter insole that had memory foam and arch support. The shoes are good for for surfaces and slippery conditions but any uneven surfaces when your foot goes over the shoe comes off. So ok for a deck shoe, don't but if you're doing a lot of walking or headed to Europe:)”

We designed Vessi as a casual/lifestyle shoe, which means there's not a lot of arch support included. That said, the insoles are removable so you're always able to swap those for something you find more comfortable.
We're also sorry to hear that our sizes and designs didn't quite fit as you'd hoped. Due to our very adaptable upper knit, those who are in between sizes often find a pair of Vessis that work for them, but I do understand this isn't always the case. We're working towards expanding our sizing and style offerings in the future, and we'll certainly take note of your feedback on this as we do!
“I was looking for a casual lightweight shoe with a lot of versatility. These shoes are everything!! I took a chance and took my brand new Vessi’s on vacation and walked over 90 km in one week with them on and never got a blister. I walked in rain/ gravel/ and everything in between and they stood up nicely. The shoes are lightweight, comfortable and stylish. I am already looking at getting a pair in another colour. The only thing I would note is that the shoes run a bit large (I have medium/wide feet and needed to size down). I ordered online but exchanged in store and the process was super easy. I highly recommend these shoes.”
“I bought these to be a summer shoe, as the website said the tech would also keep my foot cool. But I find my feet are few hot and sweaty in these, even more so than the weekenders. They are cute and comfy though.”

We're sorry to hear your Vessis aren't performing as you'd hoped. Our shoes are breathable thanks to a special material called Dyma-tex that we developed ourselves. It contains millions of pores large enough for the heat and moisture from your feet to escape, but small enough to prevent outside water from creeping in!
Vessis are way more breathable (and lightweight) than traditional waterproof footwear options - like rubber boots. That being said, waterproof shoes will always be a little less breathable than normal shoes. We thought it was nice to have another option rather than wearing heavy, clunky rain boots all the time.
