“these are a replacement pair after running the previous ones into the ground. The new cuff around the ankle did cause a little irritation on my upper heal first day which I did not have with the previous cuff style. This is no longer a problem and the shoes are very comfortable.I am happy the new pull tab is larger ,as the previous ones were so small my forefinger struggled to fit in.Overall, very happy with purchase, and if these last as well as my others ones, and this style is still around I will repurchase.”
Hi Jerry,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
I'm sorry to hear your Vessis are too narrow. The material works similar to how socks fit, in the sense that it adapts to your foot shape. The more you wear them, the more it gives and stretches to mold to you. Therefore, it’s actually quite normal for your Vessis to be a little snug to start. Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight.
We're working towards expanding our sizing offerings in the future, and we'll certainly take note of your interest in wide and half sizes. Our product team is always interested in knowing what's in demand!
That said, I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our Product team, as we are always looking to improve.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.
“Really happy with these shoes. Absolutely no break-in period, felt great from the first time I put them on. Haven't had an opportunity to test out the water proof ability, and are a touch on the warm side, guessing this is resulting from them being a bit less breathable due to them being water proof. Would recommend!”
“I use these to commute on my eBike.
Upsides: surprisingly waterproof. My other shoes would have taken a week to dry with the water these shoes took over a couple of days. My feet aren’t soaking wet and my cuffs are bone dry (everything’s coming up Milhouse!) Wet days aren’t fraught any more.
Downsides: They’re a little narrow for my yeti feet. But they feel like they’ll stretch, and they’re more comfortable to walk in than pedal my bike in.”
“These shoes are comfortable and are perfect for making my dog, either on rainy days or when going to the park and the grass is wet. The only downside is when using them on hot days, I felt my feet hotter.”
