As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support. Some people love this, while others find it doesn’t work well for them. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for a more customized fit and comfort.

“I really like these shoes, the color is great and they are so light. I really have enjoyed all my Vessi shoes. And they are for sure water proof. I can walk around in wet grass with my dog all morning and still have dry socks!”
“They’re pretty comfy, a little snug and a higher arch than im used to. Biggest drawback is that they’re narrower where the laces are and sort of widen in the toe area which just looks a little off to me as i normally wear shoes that are pretty uniform throughout.”
“I need to return this pair and possibly try a different style. I ordered up in size since I wear a 1/2 size shoe. It's too big and the shoe seems very roomy around the foot and I don't think a smaller size will fix that. My shoe needs to snug my foot and not allow my foot to slide around inside the shoe, it also needs to provide good support. I'm hoping a different style will solve the snug fit, but I'm not sure which one to try for a better support.”
