“It is amazing. Comfortable and stylish. So far looks durable too. The space black looks even cooler in person. A little heavier than advertised though, but mostly just the sole. Also requires double tying the laces.”
“Ever since I purchased my first pair of Vessi shoes two years ago, I've been wanting to buy a boot like this. I found my first pair to be the most comfortable water-proof shoes ever. These boots are just as comfortable, and I plan to wear them through the winter's snows. I gave 4 stars because I hope Vessi considers these changes for a future model. 1. The laces Vessi used on both pairs of shoes I own from them need to be double knotted or they quickly become untied. Also, the laces on my older shoes are now stiff and crusty. I know I could change out the laces, but I think Vessi should look into it. 2. The boots have a sock like top, like elastic, but they still don't really keep snow from falling in. Hence, the tight top isn't tight enough to function as a barrier, yet makes it harder to put the boot on as it is tight. Either give up on the idea of keeping out snow from the top and let me put on the boot easier, or go to maybe a zipper and make the top even more snug. 3. Finally, while not a real issue, these boots lack the stability to make them great hiking boots. They're okay, but on uneven ground, I find I lack the kind of rugged stability a boot with a wider base would offer.”
