“I absolutely love the style and think they will be super versatile. I took off a star because I don't really agree with the description of true to size; I think they are a bit oversized. I am a size 7 in almost every brand, with a 6.5 on a rare occasion. I went with 7 and they feel quite big, and with the ability to stretch a bit I feel like a 6 might have been a better fit. That said I am still going to rock them; so happy otherwise!”
“I love my Stormburts! I’ve had them for about 2 weeks now and they really are as waterproof as they say! I really enjoyed freaking my friends out for the first week by standing in deep puddles and watching my friends freak out before they realized my shoes were waterproof. And they totally are! Not a single drop got through. I wear them for hours at a time and they’re super comfortable and my feet feel supported. I love the colour and the style and get all kinds of compliments about them. My one issue is that they’re not quite as breathable as Vessi claims they are. They’re definitely more breathable than a boot, but you can tell they’re less breathable than other sneakers. That’s a minor complaint compared to everything else that’s great about this shoe though, and I don’t regret anything about getting them and look forward to continuing to wear them everyday.”
“Took them on a week long trip to NYC and did lots of walking (including on a few rainy days) and they kept my feet comfy and dry the whole time! I also really like how they slip on and off with the stretchy ankle cuff. The light colour has picked up some stains but I expected that going into it. Haven't tried washing them yet to see if anything comes out.”
“I love the waterproofing and the stylish design. The grip in the sole could be improve to tackle more challenging terrain/tracks. My only request is for Vessi to produce half-sizes in between. I am 6 1/2 shoe size and I’m wearing 7 and it doesnt fully support my ankle when Im tackling challenging terrain when I”m out hiking in comparison with my other trail shoes.”
