“I own several different pairs of Vessis and these are definitely my favourite. They were a bit hard to get on the first time. But after a couple wears the ankle fabric softens a little and they are easier to put on. I love how light they are while still feeling sturdy. They are very comfortable and it’s great that when it’s raining the high too prevents water from splashing onto your ankles.”

“This is my 5th pair of Vessi shoes (#6 already ordered and my daughter has 4 pairs) and these are great! I wear the Weekenders almost every day. I usually wear a size 8.5 US so I always order Vessi size 8 and they fit perfectly.
It is VERY cold and snowy where I live.
I got the Stormbursts this morning and couldn't wait to try them out. So we went for a walk after lunch - hubby in hiking boots, daughter in her Vessi Chelseas, and I in my new Vessi Stormbursts. Weather was 5⁰F, sunny, and lots of snow on the ground. We walked about a mile and made sure to try deep snow, play and run around having a snowball fight, and stayed outdoors for over 2 hours.
Hubby's feet were freezing only halfway through our outing. Daughter's feet stayed warm and dry throughout, though she did have a few slips and falls on the ice. My feet were warm and dry, I had no problem with traction, and they were so comfortable to walk in! The knit opening is quite loose, so I did get some snow in my shoes that made my socks wet, but we were tromping around in knee-deep snow at one point. My daughter didn't have that problem with the Chelsea boots since they're much more snug.
Overall I'm super happy with my new shoes, though time will tell if I made the right move ordering a light color. (Owning white Weekenders turned into quite a legendary cleaning saga in which I ultimately conceded.) I can't wait to see how they do at work where I'm on my feet all day.”
