“i almost never write reviews, but i just had to for these shoes because they are the best. i am so picky with shoes because i have orthotics and bunions, which is a glamorous combination. i tried upwards of 20 different pairs of gore-tex and other waterproof shoes on for a 6 week overseas trip. once i tried on these shoes, i knew i’d found the holy grail. trust me, they are the best. my orthotics fit perfectly. i got the men’s size for a lil extra width for the bunions (i’m a women’s 8, and got the men’s 7) and they fit great. sometimes my ankles slip around a bit on men’s size shoes (which i usually prefer because of the width), but not on this hiking boot style. i took them on my trip after never wearing them at home and they are so comfortable from day one. zero break-in period, zero blisters. walking 20-30,000 steps/day with zero issues. walked thru ankle-deep puddles all day today - feet are dry. wore them in 25 degree celsius weather the other day - feet weren’t too hot. i got the black colour which i think is a lil less cute but v versatile and easy for travel. one of the staff at the vessi store had hers on with cute ankle socks and a mini skirt so honestly, if you care about aesthetics, i feel like you can still make these pretty cute if you pair with the right pieces. i travel minimal with one backpack so this is the only shoe i brought with me and so far i have zero regrets. ty vessi, you made the perfect shoe for the pickiest girl.”
“This boot is great for light snow or driving the car. Perfect for running from the car to the store or work. Nice and lightweight they keep your feet nice and dry. They aren’t the warmest Sina cold snowy day isn’t their real strongpoint. I bought my wife a pair.”
