“I got these to wear for cycling in the winter and rain. I have biked to work through sleet, heavy rain, and deep puddles splashing up right across my legs. Paired with waterproof pants (not from vessi), the only thing that ever gets wet is my bit of ankle that's exposed between them. Even after getting totally soaked on my commute, they are still totally dry inside and ready to wear again for the way home. The soles are tough enough that they have no visible damage from riding with flat pedals with pins, which is a problem I've had with other shoes. The only downside is when wearing them all day and being on my feet, my heels do start to hurt a bit --- they aren't the most plush or comfortable; I have that issue with most shoes though, and it's not what I bought them for, so I highly recommend these, especially for cycling.”
“Overall good quality material!
The shoes have a solid structure and feel comfortable enough, but not like other vessi shoes that seem to “loose” some sturdiness and a bit of shape, getting naturally more soft. Those shoes instead stay firm enough resulting in less comfort. The aesthetic is pretty although the white lines are not my absolute favourite thing, despite I still purchased them. The size chart is slightly off for me. I measured the length of my foot before ordering online and got a size up, but it still feels a bit tight(I think that this has something to do with the “rubber” material that covers partially the top and side of the shoe. I do not have excessive sweat. The other part made me give less stars is that the sole does not offer a great grip when walking on wet metal surfaces; I walked in the rain and on the hundreds of street manwhole covers and I have to slow down as the soles did not offer a great grip. I would love to try other of their shoes(not this boot style - high top) and see if my experience is totally different)”

We apologize for any inconvenience you've faced regarding the break-in process of your Vessis. The material is designed to conform to your foot's shape, similar to how socks fit. Over time, as you wear them, they should gradually adapt and stretch to better fit your foot. It's quite common for Vessis to feel snug initially.
To help during this period, some customers find using a shoehorn to put on the shoes helpful. Additionally, you can accelerate the stretching process by placing a few pairs of thick socks inside the shoes overnight, which should aid in expanding their shape.
We’re also sorry to hear your sneakers don't have as much grip as you'd hoped. Our shoes are designed to be slip-resistant - not slip-proof. They're made with 4-way traction, providing the necessary slip-resistance you need for most activities. That being said, some surfaces when slippery will always be more difficult to navigate and in those situations, we always advise our customers to be extra careful.

Wanted to Upgrade to something more for Trekking and long walks for travelling and these have been amazing for it. Cosy as anything, waterproof, there very light which is great for travelling and despite them being Light there still very rugged feeling. I can wear them without socks and there still comfy!”
