“I received these boots as a gift and so I had no expectations. Upon seeing them I like the style and the construction seemed very study. I received them just in time to take on a weekend hiking trip to Catalina Island (off Southern California). We had just received a lot of rain so conditions were muddy and cold. I cannot overstate how much I fell in love with the boots. Among the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned. The waterproofing proved incredibly effective. And the soles are perfectly wide for stability, thick for cushion, and textured for traction, but still lightweight and nimble. I love the mesh body as well. By the end of each day I never felt any desire to take them off like I do with many other pairs of shoes. And I was happy to slip them back on to go to dinner at night, too. Bravo to Vessi on an incredible boot! I'll be purchasing more styles as needed.”

“This is my fourth pair of Vessi’s and is my favorite model so far. Waterproofing in all of the models is excellent. The knit tops are comfortable. What sets this shoe apart is the solid feel and support coming from the reinforced outsole. My other Vessis can feel malleable and soft, somewhere between a slipper and a shoe. The stormburst achieves a hardy shoe feel. I like the mission, values and objectives Vessi carries and so I will keep supporting their products, and hope that they develop better and better shoes in the process. Finally, the stormburst is a sleek and functional shoe.”
