“My boyfriends mother is older and we worry about her slipping especially in the winter time when she goes out to places. These shoes have amazing grip and coverage for her ankles. She loves that she can also wear them all year round.”
“A bit too wide for my foot. I like that they are waterproof as we have mild weather in the winter and I can hike in the slush. They make my feet look HUGE but that is a vanity thing. I find they lack in lateral support.”

We’re so sorry to hear your Vessis aren't providing you the amount of support you're looking for, we can imagine how disappointing that must be.
As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support. Some people love this, while others find it doesn’t work well for them. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for a more customized fit and comfort.
That said, we’ll certainly share your thoughts on the design and level of support with the rest of the team as we feel it is important to take into consideration all of the feedback we receive from our customers.

“True to size. I’m normally a 7.5, I ordered an 8 and very comfortable with a sock. Slightly tight when slipping on as it does not unlace but the back tab helps with pulling on. I plan on wearing these in wet conditions this winter. Very happy thus far.”
“When Vessi says the shoes are water proof, they were not lying. My feet were perfectly dry after I walked through some pretty serious water. They are super comfortable too boot (get it? To boot).”
