“Initially, I was very sceptical about purchasing the shoes. My husband really enjoys his and encouraged me to do so. I needed new boots, but the brand that I generally purchased would leave me toed damp from the morning dew. I broke down and ordered this particular item as it was a good combination of a sneaker and a boot. It’s a game changer! The shoes, arrived on time and were true in their sizing. The day they came is raining and I put them on to walk the dogs. A true test. I wasn’t disappointed. After a long hike through the forest I returned home to with dry, warm feet. The best part is they are so easy to slip on and go and feel great while I’m wearing them. I’m no longer a Blundstone girl, I’m sold! I just need an excuse to buy some more. Thank you”
“I had to take a leap of faith when I bought these shoes for work because they were expensive. I work in a park, mostly outside in the mostly wet pacific northwest. What I needed most in a work shoe was COMFORT and waterproof. The other feature I needed was slip-on, not laces because the main problem I kept having with regular work boots was that I frequently had to keep adjusting the laces which were always too tight or too loose. Normal work boots have been letting me down for years and my search for boots I could love felt like an odessy. This review is for the Stormburst and also the Weekend Chelsea, which I bought first. I bought the Chelsea first because I wanted a slip on black boot to wear on a trip I'm taking in a few weeks. I loved them immediately! I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and I still love them. For work I need a all terrain sole, though, with thicker, sturdier tread. So I bit the bullet and hurt my bank account and bought the stormburst for work. Again, they were comfortable immediately. I've been wearing them everyday and I just can't believe how comfortable they are! For the first time in years I don't feel like I have to get my boots off the minute I get home from work! And I can verify these boots are waterproof, Ive been washing trucks and working on the beach in them and, yep, my feet stayed dry! Time will tell if they hold up to saltwater but so far so good! I'm so happy to finally have found a brand of shoe I can count on for comfort. Well done Vessi! There is only one thing I don't love about the Stormburst and it's minor. I wish it looked more like a boot and less like an athletic shoe. I look kind of dorky wearing the Stormburst just because it's not my normal style, but I'm willing to live with that because my feet are so happy. If you want to expand your line you could put the sturdier sole of the stormburst on the Chelsea boot (black please!) and I'd buy them in a heartbeat. The Chelsea look and feel and the big beefy sole. Go! And thanks so much:)”
“Seems good so far! Been wearing them for about two weeks now. Despite looking like a boot, my feet don’t overheat even in the summer heat. And they fit my orthotic inserts. Only downside is that they can’t be tied too securely - maybe this could be improved if the laces went a bit further up? But still I’m enjoying them so far”
“So I am an older woman, getting ready to take my first cruise to Alaska. I needed something waterproof, lightweight, versatile, fashionable, envionable, Easy to put on and take off (as I have breathing problems when bending over). So far they seem to check all those boxes and I like the neutral grey with the teal accents. They seam to be grippy enough and will break in without effort. The things I would love to see in these shoes are, laces that do not tie, but are stretchy without ends, like my sketches. Gives a slicker look and no bending over to tie, and my biggest disappointment is that you NEED 1/2 sizes. As an older person tripping is a very real and dangerous thing. That extra in the length for me at least make them more trippy, just regular walking, as the toe "catches" as I walk on concrete or carpet. Going down a size will be too short for me and that would cause toe problems, the half size would be perfect. Overall I really like them, the sole feels abit wide at both front and back, but I may like that trekking on uneven terrain, time will tell.”
“I really like these shoes. They are comfortable to get my feet in and out and my mom likes the pair I get her as well. We went to Disney and universal in these shoes and the only thing is (and is probably just me) it was hard to stand all the hours and walking that we were in there. Eventually I'll find good insoles for them but other than that I really love these shoes!”
