“The shoes feel a little different than my previous shoes when walking, but I got used to them in a couple days. Comfortable, light, and like that they can get wet without my socks getting wet.”
“They take a minute to get used to but then they fit super comfortably. They’ve become my go to everyday shoe right off the bat.
I switched from all birds because their quality has decreased and it looks like that was a lucky switch to make”
“I was skeptical when I heard these were waterproof, but I decided to give them a try, and they are truly waterproof. They also happen to be incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend them!!”
“A co-worker recommended Vessi as a light weight, breathable water proof shoe for work, as we travel a lot!
When they arrived, I was 1 week away from a 2-week backpacking trek. I saw how light they were, and confirmed they are waterproof, and realized they would be my perfect camp shoe for when I need to get out of my boots- Great Decision!
Our 1st day in base camp was a solid torrential downpour, and it didn’t let up until after a full day on the trail. My trek-mates kept their boots on the whole time (2 days minus sleeping time), but I only had my boots on for the miles hiked. The rest of the time was in my comfortable, dry sneakers. We had heavy rains at our trail camps ~1/2 of the days, and it was so good to get out of boots and into something dry and comfortable.
Even more amazing is how clean they were after all of the mud and grime from the trek. When the outside dried, most of the mud & dirt just fell away- no scrubbing required.
This was one of my best purchases for the trek, even though that is not what I intended them for.”
“I love everything about these shoes with one minor exception. Most shoes don't snug up around your whole foot. The tongue is often loose so after 40+ years of shoes with a traditional tongue this style is taking some getting used to. The top of my foot needs to acclimate to a "rim". It doesn't rub or hurt but it's just a different feeling I'm not yet used to. I'm sure they will break in and I'll get used to it though.”
