“My very first pair of Cityscapes were the best. They are over 2 years old, still waterproof and I still wear them even though parts of the bottom are starting to peel away and edges of the soles are worn down. I will wear them until they fall apart. I got a pair last year and had to give them to a friend because they were too big/loose even though they were the same size/colour as previously ordered. I took side by side photos and they're clearly different shape and length. This most recent pair is okay, however my original pair are still the best as far as fit and feel. The newer models have a different shaped toe box (more narrow near the toes), are slightly longer and the fabric knit is not as fine. If half-sizes were available that would be helpful. Even though the new design is different I still like the shoe because it's versatile , stylish , very light, washable, waterproof for a very long time, perfect for jogging (because I like a flat/minimal sole so I can feel my feet) and overall excellent value for what you get.”
“Original order was too big, returned and received the correct size. They are comfortable and although I don't puddle jump, I do walk through water on rainy days. And my toes have been dry.”
“These shoes are amazing. I was skeptical at first because it's hard to believe sneakers could be comfy, stylish, AND waterproof. But Vessi proved me wrong. I can attest how comfy they are as I work in a lab and am on my feet all day and wearing these makes it so much easier to do so. They also are as waterproof as advertised, of course you still have to be a bit careful since the shoes only go up to your ankles but to be expected. Maybe my only complaint is that the shoelaces are just long enough to tie, I wish they had a bit more length to them. Overall, great shoes and I'm already thinking of getting another pair!”
“These are my second pair of Vessi shoes. They are not like traditional sneakers in that the upper fits sort of like a sock. Although they have laces, I think they are more for decoration as they are slip on shoes. The sole is very bouncy, like walking on a cloud. Not much in the way of arch support though, if you happen to be flat footed or have orthopaedic issues with your feet. They are most definitely water proof. I only wish that Vessi made high tops…for deeper puddles.”
