The only reason it isn't a 5 star is the shoe laces don't stay tied and are just a little too short to double bow. But that's an easy problem to fix for a fantastic pair of shoes!!!”

Sorry to hear about the laces. But yes, you can either purchase a new set of longer laces or add some lace stoppers to keep them tied.

One reason for the noise could be the suede lace cage rubbing against the upper knit, for that you could try a touch of WD-40 between them to help with friction. Also, hockey tape might work for that too.
Another option could be trapped moisture between the insole and the actual shoe, in which case corn starch or baby powder inside the shoe and between those areas could help there too.
