“This show is great for daily wear and normal activities. I even washed my car with them on and didn't get wet feet. I wish they were a little more suited for running, though.”
“I have had these for about 3 months and they are pretty great. They have about an average comfort in the soles, and the outside feel like socks. The only problems I had with the shoes were the soles. When I got them they weren’t in the shoe that well. When I tried to fix them they were either scrunched up in the front or back. But overall, they are really decent shoes and the water proof makes them worth it.”
Hey Jacob. Thanks for sharing your overall experience with us. Thanks for the feedback -- we have definitely taken steps to improve our insoles for future pairs. We're glad that you've been enjoying your pair otherwise though! Thanks for the ongoing support and the positive review.
“I love that this show is a stylish everyday sneaker that I can wear on rainy days or any day honestly. The shoe is very minimalist and subtle which I love. It is prob the lightest shoe I have ever worn and the sole is extremely comfortable. I think the they fit a bit smaller than I expected, I went with a 9 and wish maybe I had purchased a 10. It is very expandable though which helps and I think with time it will fit better. Overall an excellent shoe and concept.”
“I love the shoes, they are amazing. I just have had one little problem that kept me from giving the last star. The insert thing on my right shoe keeps sliding up and folding up at the toe. It's not a huge problem it's just more annoying than anything.”
Hi Ben,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It can sometimes happen that the insoles slip around depending on each person's differences in walking gait. Our current insoles were designed to be light weight and breathable. The best material we could use to achieve this is a low density foam. Low density foam however, is soft and can moves around since we do not glue it down in order to allow for people who use orthotics to be able to wear Vessis too.
All that said, our team is always hard at work creating the next generation of Vessis based on customer feedback, and upgraded insoles is one of our objectives. Thicker, more cushioned and bouncier which will all provide for less moving around of the insole when the shoe is worn.
For this specific case, we've found using double sided tape tends to do the trick really well. Do let me know if this works for you! 😊
“The shoes are incredibly comfortable, I can wear them without socks on rainy days without a single drop of water getting in. I am not afraid of puddles anymore and I recommend this product.”
“My son loves his shoes. He states that they are so comfortable and can wear them all day I catch him often asleep with them. I will be but 2 more pairs for my other two sons. Great amazing product”
Hi Andrew,
We love to hear more about what you're experiencing, please feel free to send us an email at support@vessi.com so we can look into this further for you.
“Highly suggest you go a size up if you're a half size like I am. They're a bit annoying to get on in the beginning, but they're snug and cozy once on. They do what they say and I haven't had a wet sock in weeks. I take the dog out every day and hit dewy grass that used to get my shoes soaked. Not anymore. I'm extremely happy with the purchase.”
Hi Jon,
We are extremely happy too because you are happy!
No worries, it’s normal for the shoes to be a little firm to start! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!
