“I really love how light and comfortable these shoes are. The fact that they are waterproof is a bonus. They are also very supportive for such a light shoe.”
“The sizing chart and the description was EXACTLY the same with what I received. They are completely waterproof and such great footwear for a rainy day.”
“I bought a pair of these for my husband and a pair of the women’s style for myself. We’ve worn them almost daily and they are not only super comfortable but completely waterproof. I stuck my entire shoe in a puddle the first day I got them to test it out. The water just ran off of it. Will never NOT own a pair of Vessi shoes living in Vancouver!”
“pros
- Comfortable, light, and like the aesthetic.
- received prompt and appropriate support for a warranty claim.
- the waterproof feature seems to be accurate. Will see how long it lasts.
cons
- had a defect on original pair - had to receive a replacement pair (yet to be determined how the 2nd pair holds up)
- the insoles are little finicky. I find they easily slide out of position inside the shoe. They also don't "feel" like they have the exact right shape for the shoe.”
Hi Adam,
We are sorry to hear that you had issues with your initial pair. But, we're glad that this got sorted out for you now!
It can sometimes happen that the insoles slip around depending on each person's differences in walking gait. Our current insoles were designed to be lightweight and breathable. The best material we could use to achieve this is a low density foam. Low density foam however, is soft and can moves around since we do not glue it down in order to allow for people who use orthotics to be able to wear Vessis too.
All that said, our team is always hard at work creating the next generation of Vessis based on customer feedback, and upgraded insoles is one of our objectives. Thicker, more cushioned and bouncier which will all provide for less moving around of the insole when the shoe is worn.
