The waterproof feature is perfect. I have purposely walked through shallow puddles to test them out. I purchased these for rainy day activities. I use them when washing my car, walking after a hard rain, an being able to park in the spot at work that retains water.
They are super comfortable. Only my high-end Swedish dress shoes are more comfortable, by not by much.
If I had to give a complaint, it would be lack of upper support when changing directions quickly, but they're not designed for use as cross-trainers!
