“I love my Vessi Cityscapes for the most part. There are only a few things that have bummed me out. First, the image on the website led me to believe the shoes did not have laces that needed to be tied. I thought they were more like slip on bungie laces, and this was part of what made me want to purchase them. I was disappointed that they needed to be tied and how much this changes the way they look. Second, the soles are wearing down more quickly than I would like, especially for how much they cost. I wear them a lot, almost daily, and I’ve had less expensive shoes stand up better to all the walking I do. Lastly, while I adore the waterproof factor, they don’t breathe very well and my feet get sweaty and hot in warmer temps. I live in the PNW, so I’ve relegated them to fall and winter wear because of this. Once warmer weather kicks in, they become too uncomfortable to wear. Bottom line, I love the look and fit of my Cityscapes and I’ve recommended them to several friends. I wish they came in more colors, but I love the flexibility of being able to wear them for so many activities. Walking, hiking, kayaking, and even boating! Hoping for a few tweaks and improvements to future versions.”

“I love my vessi’s! It’s so nice being able to walk outside in any type of weather and not have my feet become a soggy mess. They’re super comfortable and go with just about any outfit.
The only issue I find with them is that the opening part near the front of my foot (just above the laces), sometimes digs into my foot when I wear ankle socks or when using them biking in the city. Otherwise, I highly recommend getting a pair!”

“The reason I got these shoes is, because, one of my jobs is delivering newspapers. Last summer my feet got soaked when it rained or if the customers were watering their lawns. There’s nothing quite like walking in squishy shoes for 4 hours . These runners have kept my feet warm and dry and I am so pleased with them! My only complaint would be that the shoelaces come undone fairly often, which I find a little annoying.”
