“Have been eyeing these shoes up for a while and finally decided to order.
PROS:
- They are honestly better than I anticipated.
- They are very comfortable with tons of cushioning
-They fit true to size (I'm a size 9 women's, average width foot. The 9 Vessi's fit great).
- 100% waterproof, the first time I dipped my feet into the ocean with them, I was filled with glee that they are truly waterproof.
- I walk everywhere and these hold up well during my 2 hour walks per day. Currently my go-to shoes beating out runners and blundstones for long walks.
- would rate 10/10 for style, comfort, and function and will definitely be buying a second pair.
CONS:
- This isn't so much a con as just a fact about waterproof shoes? I'm not a hot person, but these get a little toasty during my longer walks on hot days. It was 18 degrees here the other day and my feet were quite warm, so I could tell they aren't going to be my go-to summer shoes (which is 100% fair for waterproof). They'll be amazing for every other season though.
- A vanity thing ... the Vessi's fit high on the ankle area, which I appreciate for the waterproof aspects. However I end up with what I can only describe as a "ankle muffin top" above the shoes when I'm wearing tight yoga pants or leggings (it's fine with joggers and wider legged pants). I'm average sized, but I have rather thick ankles and calves (for example, my blundstones were *tight* around my ankles until I broke them in). I'm kinda over societal expectations of what my body should look like, so just rock my muffin top ankles, but perhaps Vessi could make a slightly wider fit ankle hole for folks like me?”

“Haven’t had the chance to wear them as much as I’d hoped just yet cause of work but the times I have I’ve loved them. Once the weather smartens up in my area I’ll get back running and get to really try them out to their full potential.”
“They fit very well - and my feet are super narrow with other shoes falling off occasionally. Waterproofness is great. Perhaps the lace style isn’t my favourite but not the worst either.”
“It came out just like the picture but I thought the lace would look the same at the picture. Instead it’s the one you have to tie lace not the single wrapped lace.”
“So far I have really enjoy these shoes. The ordering process was easy and there were several designs to choose from. I received my shoes faster than I expected and was extremely excited to see it was just what I ordered. I will definitely be ordering more.
The only downside is that I wear a US 91/2 and when I did the size chart it suggested a 9 which I chose. As a result they are tight around my smallest digits and I am afraid that it may increase wear and tear sooner.”

“They fit a little big, I’m usually a 9.5 or 9 wide so I was nervous about sizing down but was surprised I still had a bit of room! Love that they are easy to clean, walked through plenty of puddles with them and only thing that got wet were the laces.”
