“I was surprised and like just how sturdy and stable these shoes are. Should be very durable. Are appropriate for long walks and light trail hiking. Comfortable with lots of cushioning. Good traction in wet and rain, but would not wear on icy surface. The hoop tab on heel for help on pulling on shoes a good idea but should be made larger as I cannot get my finger inserted to utilize !”
“I love the fit. Very comfortable and great for all day use! Waterproof as as advertised. The only downside is that they get dirty easily. That being said I haven't attempted the cleaning instructions.”
“Vessi is an awesome shoe, i have 3pairs
and reqlly love using them evennon a heavy rain. the shoes i got for my grandson looks awesome i just have to return it back as this is his second pair was my mistake i got a bigger size, he is 15yra old and he loves the first vessi we got it was awesome in the tain.”
“At this point I own 5 pairs of Vessi shoes. I wish it rained more because when it’s wet outside it’s my time to shine. I won’t adjust my walking route for any puddle. The look on peoples faces when I show them my dry socks. I hope vessi makes more designs, I can’t wait.”
“Could walk in puddles all day and my feet would stay completely dry! (Save my ankles but that's not a fault of the shoe, but from deceptively deep or splashy puddles).
I've had the shoes for about a month now and I have but two problems with them.
The first is that insole is rather thin and feels hard to walk and stand on all day, it's okay for short walks and such, but I stand for 7-8 hours a day and it's not ideal.
Second, the outsole could be improved for better anti-slip on smooth floors. You think that might be a given on shoes designed to get wet? I found myself slipping a bit just walking into buildings on rainy days, it has improved a little over the month, but I still have to be careful.”
