“Man these shoes are awesome. I was hesitant to buy a product I see advertised as sponsorships on Youtube but I looked at reviews elsewhere and Reddit, where people are brutally honest, and they held up so I took the plunge. I can't speak to their lasting quality obviously but at first few uses, these are extremely comfortable and very light. I'm a size 10.5 so I got an 11 and they fit great. I normally prefer wide shoes which these aren't, but they're not far off and still comfy. I was also worried that being waterproof that my feet would run hot but coincidentally it's been hot since I got them and that isn't the case. My feet feel very cool. Lastly I absolutely love that there isn't a tongue in the shoe. They're essentially slip ons with a shoelace that you don't really need to mess with. The only thing is that band around the rim runs a little higher than my socks so it rubs on my skin and it's a little uncomfortable. I bought a pair of vessi socks thinking they would design them to cover that but they don't. So I had to buy socks that go a little higher just to cover that rubbing. Nbd. Worth it as that elasticish slip on rim is my favorite feature and what got me wanting to buy the shoe in the first place.”
“The "Everyday Move" line has more support than the other lines. It fits comfortably and is an easy all-day shoe, especially for travel. I originally purchased the black-on-black version but returned for the titanium grey Summer 2023 version. Both pairs get a lot of compliments The only sad thing is that it has been very dry this summer in Vancouver, so there are no puddles to experiment with.”
“My shoe size is a 10.5 and the site suggests to order the next available size up. As such, I ordered an 11. I received my package and opened everything up. I received an instruction/cleaning/care pamphlet for shoes that I didnt order but I just figured it was an oversight. I put the shoes on and the front half of the shoe was still tight, even though I ordered the next size up as the site suggests. The shoe is also advertised as breathable when it is not, at least when compared to other standard shoes. I'll probably continue to try the shoes to see if they'll open up at all and decide on ordering any other merch at a later date.”

We're sorry to hear you’re finding your Vessis a little tight. For some reference, however, it’s actually quite normal for the ankle opening to be a little snug to start.
Over the first few wears of your new shoes, you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate your foot shape. By starting tighter, this allows the shoe to mold to your ankle shape - making sure no water seeps in through the ankle opening.
We totally understand your worry about the tightness, but the opening will start to loosen up within the next few wears.
Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight.
