He unfortunately broke his thumb this past week, but these have been great because they slip on so easily and I don't have to worry about him straining himself putting them on with one hand. “When I first got them, they felt a bit tight around my toes but after a couple times wearing them while working, they formed better to my feet and no longer has that uncomfortable pressure on my big toes. A great plus is how easy they are to slip on and take off and how light they feel. Five stars for fit and comfort.
I haven't tested the waterproofness of the shoe but that is where the potential deal breaker stems from. Vessi claims the shoes are breathable and allow sweat to air out through them despite the waterproof knit design. It may be because it's really hot in California but I immediately noticed they weren't so breathable after my first full day of working in them. At the end of my shift, when I took them off, my feet were sweatier than I remembered them being in other shoes and as a result stank quite terribly.
It hasn't seemed to improve much over the two weeks I've been wearing them to the point that my family has been urging that I consider returning them over the smell. I'm less inclined to purchase the weekend shoes now as I was considering them as my none-work shoes before I smelled the exacerbated stinky feet caused by the everyday move shoes.
To conclude, the fit and comfort is amazing but the stinky feet problem is slowly becoming a deal breaker as I've never really suffered much with before. It makes me give the shoes a 2.5 in that regards, thus averaging a 3.75 star rating.”
“Just got this new pair of Vessi. First of all, the pairs I initially bought (size 8) were way too small for me. I returned them for size 9 and now they finally fit comfortable. Still haven't really tried them under the rain, but so far, they seem nice.”

“The shoes were tight to begin with which stretches out after a few hours of walking. Overall comfortable walking as i used these as courier on the road. It does however rub my heels if I don't wear high socks. That's why I give it 4 stars.”
“I love and am a full supporter of Vessi shoes. This new iteration of the men's everyday move has continued to build on the the product that i've grown to love so much. The shoes look modern & fashionable, and really do live up to the functionality that they claim. The soles are very durable and give great support. They make for great daily shoes regardless of weather. These shoes have really stood the test for me - I actually live in a tropical climate where I experience a lot of wetness and unexpected downpours of heavy rain. Typhoons and torrential downpours are part of the weather patterns I experience, and Vessi's truly have been a lifesaver for me. My feet stay dry, and I can still look good while trouncing around through some heavy tropical rain. The shoes make for great travel shoes.
I was a slow adopter, and used to avoid waterproof shoes because of the difficulty of finding a shoe that balances form and function well. In the past waterproof shoes lacked breathability (causing sweaty feet), and are not great as functional daily & active shoes. Vessi's seriously changed all of that for me. A friend would not stop recommending the shoes to me, and after one final soggy typhoon experience with waterlogged feet, I finally had to give it a try.
