“They were a little snug at first but with thinner socks and a little bit of patience they stretched to a custom fit that is very comfortable. The waterproof nature of the shoes is great when washing the car or walking the dogs. I've even worn them out in the snow and while it wasn't exactly a polar expedition, my feet stayed warm and dry. I got them in late fall, so I haven't had a chance to see if they keep my feet cool yet but am looking forward to the warmer weather to find out.”

I really wanted these waterproof shoes but I have fussy feet and there wasn't sufficient arch support needed by my feet, resulting in sciatic-like muscle pains in my right leg when test-wearing them indoors for longer than a few minutes.

“Great shoes! I'm very impressed with how comfortable they are right out of the box. This rarely is the case for me as I must break in most shoes I purchase before they begin to feel comfortable. My only suggestion to Vessi would be to offer Wide sizes. I can see my foot in the shoe spilling over the footbed slightly. Normally this would be uncomfortable and I'd size up or get different shoes, but to Vessi's credit, they still remain comfortable and I don't feel the footbed digging into the side of my feet. My previous shoes were Allbirds which I liked, but they took a couple weeks to feel comfortable on my feet.”
